Terms of service
A short, plain-language agreement.

What you're buying
Letterim is a personalised written document generated from your child's birth data. It includes a 56-page PDF, a private interactive web page, and a limited number of conversations with an AI assistant trained on the chart. The Print edition adds a physical softcover book.
What it is not
The document is not medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice. It is a contemplative reading of three independent symbolic systems, written to help you notice patterns. It is not a substitute for a clinician, therapist, teacher, or any other professional working directly with your child. If your child has clinical or behavioural needs, please consult someone qualified to address them.
Refunds
If the document doesn't feel like it describes your child, request a full refund within 30 days. The full refund policy is on the refund policy page.
Subscription
The optional AI Chat Unlimited subscription is $19.99 per month, billed via Stripe. It can be cancelled at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. If a renewal payment fails, we make a 7-day grace period attempt; if all retries fail, the subscription becomes inactive automatically.
Acceptable use
One subscription covers conversations about the children you've ordered documents for, on the same email. The AI assistant will not respond to general queries unrelated to those children — by design.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service, scrape conversations, attempt to extract underlying chart data via prompt manipulation, or use the assistant to harass any party.
Intellectual property
The document we generate for you is yours to keep, print, share with family, and revisit. The underlying templates, prompts, calculations, and software are ours. You may not republish the methodology or rebrand the document as if you produced it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability is the amount you paid in the most recent year. We are not liable for emotional, parenting, or relational outcomes that may follow from reading the document. Use it as one input among many.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes are resolved in good faith first by direct correspondence; if unresolved, by binding arbitration.
Changes
If these terms change materially we'll email you. Use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
